The “watch anime and learn japanese” concept is just a myth. a lot of high school students improve their english level by reading books and comics, or watching dramas and movies in english with subtitles in their own language.. Like most of you, the main reason i decided to learn japanese was anime. watching anime has always been a magnificent escape for me. i loved being able to dive into these awesome fantasy worlds. it all started with inuyasha. i was 14 and going through a bit of a tough time and the show really helped me cope, and after that it just took off..
